English essential

Education

Useful Information

Graduation from a recognized university with a Master degree in epidemiology, public health, bio-statistics or a related discipline. The candidate must also have adequate specialization (through education, training, and/or work experience) in statistics sufficient to permit sophisticated quantitative analysis of health-related data.

Experience

Experience in the design of complex health research studies.

Experience in surveillance, tracking, or reporting systems on health issues.

Experience in the interpretation and evaluation of complex research projects.

Experience in writing scientific technical reports.

Other Merit Criteria and Conditions of Employment

Candidates must meet the Essential Qualifications to be appointed to the position. Candidates may be expected to meet, in whole or in part, the criteria related to the Assets, Operational Requirements and Organizational Needs, depending on the position being staffed.

    Employee may be required to travel within and outside Canada.
