Professional Inventory for Groups Targeted by Employment Equity

In a continued effort to hire a diversified and representative workforce reflective of Canadian society, the public service adopts positive measures that support the recruitment of under-represented groups in a variety of jobs. This inventory stems from such measures.

This inventory aims to support the recruitment of persons who self-identify as employment equity group members (visible minorities, disabled people and Aboriginal people) for employment in the following professional categories:

-architecture
-education / teaching
-engineering
-finances
-health
-sciences

If you are a member of an under-represented group and you have post-secondary education as well as experience in one of the aforementioned fields, we invite you to submit your candidacy to the Employment Equity Professional Inventory.

The inventory will be updated every 90 days and an email notice will be sent to your account. You will be granted 5 days to determine whether or not you wish to keep your account active. Please ensure that your account is up-to-date.

Searches in the inventory will be conducted, for specific positions, upon receipt of an employment request from a department. Searches will be carried out according to the statement of merit criteria developed by the department. Candidates who meet the requirements of the position will be invited, by email, to confirm their interest in having their candidacy presented to the department.

Note:
For other employment categories, we encourage employment equity group members to self-identify when applying online to the various employment opportunities available.
