Education
Useful Information
- Graduate with a degree from a recognized university in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering, aeronautical engineering, geological engineering, naval architecture or some other engineering specialty relevant to the duties of the position AND eligibility for certification as a professional engineer in Canada with specialization in an engineering specialty relevant to the position.
Experience
Experience at a bench level or in the field with electromagnetic environmental effects, including electromagnetic interference, compatibility and shielding.
Experience in leading a technical team and supervising technical staff.
Other Merit Criteria and Conditions of Employment
The following merit criteria may be required for this position. Applicants should indicate in their application if they meet the merit criteria.
- Post-graduate degree in a discipline related to electromagnetic environmental effects.
- Experience with radio frequency safety.
- Experience in Engineering design.
- Previous work experience with the Department of National Defence or Canadian Forces.
