Closing Date
Except for specific situations such as year-round inventories, all
job postings have a closing date.
On-line applications must be received by the relevant office by the
closing date indicated on the job posting.
Applications sent by fax or delivered by hand, either privately or
using a courier service, must be received by the closing date at the
address or fax number indicated on the job posting.
Applications sent by regular mail must bear a postmark that is not
later than the date indicated on the job posting and be received at the
address indicated on the job posting within 10 days after the closing
date.
Closing Time
The westernmost Canadian time zone is used to determine the closing
time for the receipt of applications, i.e. 23:59 Pacific Time.
The reason for selecting the Pacific Time zone is to ensure that all persons who reside or are employed in the area of selection mentioned
under "WHO CAN APPLY" have until the last minute of the closing
date to submit their application, regardless of where they happen to
be on that date.
