Ipsos-Reid Surveys
The Canadian Genealogy Centre hired the Ipsos-Reid firm to conduct two surveys that reached 4,000 people in March 2002 and November 2003.
The goal was to:
- evaluate interest in genealogy;
- identify relationships, interests and common values with other economic and cultural activities; and
- understand reasons and motives for the growing interest of Canadians for genealogy and family history.
