Canada-Manitoba Economic Partnership Agreement
The Canada-Manitoba Economic Partnership Agreement (EPA) website provides up-to-date information on programs and projects supported under the five-year $50 million agreement, consisting of matching contributions of $25 million each from Canada and Manitoba.

Under the EPA, the governments of Canada and Manitoba are working together and in partnership with community stakeholders on two strategic priorities - Building our Economy and Sustainable Communities – to enhance the skills of Manitoba workers and promote economic growth and diversification in Manitoba.

Manitoba Floodway Expansion Authority
This site is designed to give members of the public, community organizations, public officials and all interested parties an opportunity to learn more about one of the largest and most important infrastructure projects in Canada's history.The expansion of the Red River Floodway will increase flood security and improve the quality of life for many Manitobans. Manitoba Parks launches new web site
Manitoba Parks has introduced a new web site which features improved navigation and expanded interpretive information about most of Manitoba's provincial parks. Each park has its own home page with information about its facilities and services as well as direct links to maps and camping information for individual parks. Explore this website for information on camping, reservations, special programs, maps and the latest parks news.

The Manitoba Civil Service Commission has launched a new website which includes information about the Commission and the Manitoba Government. The site includes job postings and helpful information on the job application process, internship program outlines, human resource management reference materials, training guides and the employee assistance program, among others. Vital Statistics Agency

A new Web site allowing access to certain Manitoba vital statistic records for genealogical research is now available. The site allows researchers to look up major life event records such as births, marriages and deaths online and order copies from the Vital Statistics Agency. Effective Jan. 1, 2003, amendments to the Vital Statistics Act were proclaimed permitting unrestricted access to birth records more than 100 years old, marriage records more than 80 years old and death records more than 70 years old. Researchers are able to enter their family data into a search program and sort through results online. All electronic information available for each record will be available for online viewing.
