The above Notice of Appeal form can either be printed and completed offline or completed online and then printed. The completed form must be duly signed and delivered to the Commission within the 21 day appeal period specified in the Planning Act and served on the council or the Minister, as the case may be, within seven days of filing the appeal with the Commission.

Personal information on the above form is collected pursuant to the Planning Act and will be used by the Commission in the administration of the said Act. Personal information is protected under the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.

Important Notices!

The above Notice of Appeal Form can either be printed and completed offline or completed online and then printed. Under Section 10 of the Heritage Places Protection Act Regulations, the owner of the property containing the heritage place, or the municipality in which it is located, may appeal a designation, by written notice to the Commission, within 30 days of the receipt of service of the Notice of Designation of Heritage Place. The Appellant must serve a copy of the notice of appeal on the Commission, the Minister, and the owner or Municipality (whichever is not the Appellant).
