As you are aware, Viagra became available in Canada in late March 1999. Although this product is now available in pharmacies, VAC has not yet determined if it will be added to the approved list of drugs for which the Department will issue payment. We are currently reviewing the question and expect to make a decision when more information on its use in Canada is available. When a decision is made, probably by November 1999, we will notify you and advise of any additional information that you may need to provide.
