Manitoba's FAS Strategy
The prevention of Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS) and support of individuals
already affected is one of the core commitments of Healthy Child
Manitoba. Work is focussed on a comprehensive and culturally sensitive
plan for prevention, intervention, and support.
The FAS Community Program Coordinator provides expertise and works
as a partner with the community to build new and improve existing
supports at a local level. Healthy Child Manitoba also gives assistance
to our partner departments and other governments to coordinate efforts
to better meet the needs of communities and families.
FAS Initiatives
