Have you considered what a career in Math, Science or Technology has to offer?

Exciting job opportunities. Excellent earning potential. A stimulating work environment. You can discover the rewards of working in cancer treatment, explore the high-tech world of computers and graphic design, or assist in the development of manufacturing processes that respect the environment. The variety is virtually unlimited and so are the opportunities.

Your ticket to a brighter future is acquiring valuable skills. To help prepare for a career in the fields of Math, Science and Technology, today's young women can receive assistance from the Training for Tomorrow Educational Awards Program.

What is Training for Tomorrow?

Training for Tomorrow is a financial award program designed to encourage women to consider careers in Math, Science and Technology.

The program provides $1,000 awards (in two $500 installments) to 50 eligible women studying Math, Science and Technology at any of Manitoba's community colleges.

Who is eligible to receive an Educational Award?

Candidates must be entering full-time training in an eligible diploma program of study at Red River College, Assiniboine Community College, University College of the North or École technique et professionelle (Collège universitaire de Saint-Boniface).

How are the awards disbursed?

Educational awards are disbursed based upon students' academic achievement and answers to questions on the application form, with consideration given to regional representation.

The Minister responsible for the Status of Women grants the Training for Tomorrow Educational Awards, based on recommendations made by an Advisory Review Committee.
