Manitoba Women in Business Mentoring Meetings - 2nd Tuesdays
of the month for January through June and September through November
The program is intended for women who are already operating
a business and/or considering starting one. The sessions are led
by mentors - local seasoned women business owners - who share
information and advice about running a business. The sessions
are not intended for women looking for long term, one-on-one business
relationships. The Women's Directorate introduced the Mentoring
Program in 1999 in response to women's requests for assistance
in running a successful business. In June 2003 the program was
turned over to Manitoba Industry, Economic Development and Mines
for inclusion in its other offerings and supports for small business.
