FLOOD REPORT FOR MANITOBA

July 11, 2006.

An updated spreadsheet showing present conditions and forecasts for the Assiniboine River is attached.

  • With continued dry weather the Shellmouth Reservoir spillway flows should end this weekend.

  • The Assiniboine River continues to be within its banks at all locations.

  • Water pumping from the River has been heavy in recent weeks due to the dry weather in southern Manitoba.

  • Flooding on Lake of The Prairies continues to subside slowly.
