Veterans Affairs Canada: Proudly Serving Canada's Veteran Community
  Vol 3, No.1

106 Years Young

106 Years Young Kate Elizabeth Mullin may live in England but a part of her heart still longs for Canada, the country she came to in 1919 as the First World War bride of Private Sam Mullin. Not too long ago, Mrs. Mullin celebrated her 106th birthday, a milestone that was recognized by many well-wishers, including the Queen! Her son, Sam, tells Salute! that Mrs. Mullin has every intention of collecting her Veterans Affairs Canada survivor's pension for many more years to come. It's a deal, Mrs. Mullin!
