Farnborough International Airshow, July 17 to 23, 2006, London, England

The bi-annual Farnborough Airshow is a world renowned aerospace exhibition organized by the Society of British Aerospace Companies (SBAC), the national trade association of the United Kingdom Aerospace Industry. The show is the premier event to investigate new business opportunities for Manitoba aerospace companies and enhance the international profile of the province. The approximately 1,800 companies that will be exhibiting span the globe and represent every sector and tier of the industry.

The Honorable Jim Rondeau, former Minister of Manitoba Industry, Economic Development and Mines (I.E.D.M.) represented Manitoba and was accompanied by Deputy Minister, Hugh Elisasson, and Robert Manson, Aerospace Industry Consultant for C.T.T. Participating Manitoba companies include; Bristol Aerospace, MicroPilot, Cormer Group, Hind Tech, Standard Aero, the Composite Innovation Centre of Manitoba, and the Manitoba Aerospace Association.
