Exemption from Required Work (for claim holders only)

The Mines Branch is aware of the poor conditions that existed for conducting exploration actives this past winter due to unseasonably warm temperatures. As a guide, criteria have been developed under which an application for Exemption from Required Work on mining claims will be accepted. Link to criteria

Extensions of Time (for licence holders)

Application for an Extension of Time on Mineral Exploration Licences can be made under Subsection 15 of The Mines and Minerals Act. Link to instructions
