Business Services Guide

The Business Services Guide allows you to transact business online and request information with these services. Go to our Security Forms page to download security application forms and to view other helpful information about the registration process.

The Business Services Guide includes:

  • Companies Office Name Reservation - Citizens and businesses now have the convenience of reserving their business name online using the Companies Office Name Reservation Online system. This is the first step in registering a business name or incorporating a company.
  • Land Titles Survey Index - Provides clients with improved access to the complete list of plans available at the Land Titles Office. Clients can also order a copy of the plan online, by facsimile or regular mail.
  • Manitoba Online™ - Manitoba Online™ provides subscribers with immediate access to provincial government databases. The service offers an alternative to in-person visits to government offices and is particularly valuable to those who access government databases daily to perform legal transactions. Users are required to update registration information to become an authorized user of both Manitoba Online™ and Business Services--request an information package. (PDF document - 134kb)
  • Online Gas Permits - Gas fitters and suppliers can now apply and pay online for permits required before beginning installation of new and replacement gas- and oil-burning equipment. Permit numbers for residential work are issued 24/7 and are valid immediately upon payment.
  • Personal Property Registry - Has information about individuals and businesses that are using movable goods as collateral. Businesses register their interests in personal property as public notice that they have a secured claim if they are not paid. Consumers can check here to find out if vehicles or other possessions are free of liens.
