DEBERT MILITARY MUSEUM
website: www.debertmilitarymuseum.org

The aims and objectives of the society is to operate a military museum to provide a place for storage and dispaly of military artifacts pertinent to the history and heritage of the Debert area as a military staging ground for up to 30,000 troops from all across Canada from 1938-1945.

The museum is housed in one of the last remaining Wartime era H-Huts in Canada. Colchester Park [formerly Camp Debert] contains military artifacts and testimonials from those who served here and sometimes wish to return and reminisce. Students of Canadian History, world wars, and the cold war also make use of the facility as do film crews who use the artifacts for plays and movies.
