Statement Deplores Destruction of Palestinian Cultural Property

The SAA Council has endorsed a July 21 statement by the International Committee of the Blue Shield that deplores the destruction of cultural property in the Middle East. The Council also voted to forward the ICBS statement to the Israeli Embassy in the US and to the Palestinian Authority, with a request that they investigate the veracity of articles indicating the destruction of the Nablus archives.
