Brandon
University is situated in Manitoba's second largest city and

Canadian
Mennonite University is an innovative degree-granting Christian
university in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Building upon over 50 years of
Mennonite higher education, CMU was chartered by the Province of
Manitoba in 1998 to combine the resources of three colleges: Canadian
Mennonite Bible College, Concord College and Menno Simons College.
Today, CMU operates as one institution, offering a variety of degrees
and choice of educational settings.
Canadian
Virtual University (CVU) ® is a consortium of several of
Canada's leading universities in distance and online learning. The
universities offer 300 complete degrees, diplomas or certificates,
and 2,500 individual courses available completely online or through
distance education. The University of Manitoba is a member of the
consortium.
Collège
universitaire de Saint-Boniface (CUSB) is the oldest and the
only French-language post-secondary educational institution in Western
Canada. Located in the community of St. Boniface in the heart of
Winnipeg, it offers university (arts, science and education) as
well as vocational (childcare, business administration, data processing
and office management) programs. CUSB's Division de l'éducation
permenante has provided important continuing education services
in professional development and general interest courses in computers,
community development and language. The Collège is affiliated
with the University of Manitoba and offers U of M degrees.
University
of Manitoba The University of Manitoba is the province’s
largest, most comprehensive and only research-intensive post-secondary
educational institution. It is Western Canada’s first university
and was founded in 1877. In a typical year, the university has an
enrolment of 24,542 undergraduate students and 3,021 graduate students.
The university offers 82 degrees, 51 at the undergraduate level.
Most academic units offer graduate studies programs leading to master’s
or doctoral degrees. A wide array of courses are also offered through
their Continuing Education and Distance Education divisions.
The
University of Winnipeg is a compact, diverse, multicultural
post-secondary institution providing undergraduate and select graduate
programs, as well as Collegiate and Continuing Education divisions.
The university offers over 800 courses in more than 40 subject areas
from Aboriginal Governance to Women's Studies and is home to more
than 9,200 full- and part-time students, UWinnipeg has been ranked
by its graduates in the Top Ten of all Canadian universities, and
the Globe & Mail 2005 Report Card gave the University of Winnipeg
an overall 'A' grade in several areas.
