Innovation, Science and Technology

The CBSA uses the latest technology to help prevent contraband and dangerous goods from entering Canada by marine trade and other modes of transportation. The use of these technologies enables CBSA officers to conduct effective, non-intrusive inspections and allows them to focus on high-risk goods.

The CBSA continues to explore the use of new state-of-the-art technology to maintain its commitment to be an innovative leader in border management.
