Hiring a Free-lance Researcher
Library and Archives Canada (LAC) maintains lists of free-lance researchers who, for a fee, will conduct archival and/or bibliographical research on your behalf. The researchers' names are listed according to their specialty, by type of records or research.
While LAC does not vouch for the quality of their work, it nevertheless believes them to be competent to search the sources most frequently used for research purposes. All inquiries regarding services and fees should be directed to the researcher.
