The records of the Archives of Manitoba, including those of the Hudson's Bay Company Archives, come in a variety of media. These records can be copied in a range of formats including photocopies, microprints, microscans, photographic reproductions, onsite filming and digital copies and audio visual reproductions.

Remote clients may wish to contact us to place a copy or reproduction order.

The use of original records requires care and attention. The Archives of Manitoba's Terms Governing Copying, Reproduction and Use (PDF) provides important details about how to handle original records. You are required to agree to and sign this document.

Photocopies

Because of the unique nature of the records, all photocopying is done by Archives staff. The waiting period for photocopies depends upon the volume of requests, but deadlines are always respected.

  • See the Guide to Copy Services (PDF) for information regarding the costs and procedures associated with this service.
  • Complete the Request for Copies order form (PDF) once you have determined which records you would like copied and submit the form and records to be copied.
