On April 6, 2006, the Right Honourable Stephen Harper, Prime Minister of Canada and the Honourable Greg Thompson, Minister of Veterans Affairs, officially launched the New Veterans Charter at a ceremony held on Parliament Hill in Ottawa.

Regional Events

Over the coming weeks, four Regional New Veterans Charter launch events (Atlantic, Quebec, Ontario and Western) will be held located in or around CF bases or wings or where VAC and DND provide services. Check back for more details on each event as dates are confirmed.
