Good Mental Health
Over the past 20 years, the modern military has faced many new and difficult challenges, including an increased operational tempo and the war on terrorism. For some members of the Canadian Forces, experiences overseas and at home have left troubling emotional scars that put their mental well-being at risk.
Veterans and still-serving CF members who suffer from various operational stress injuries (OSI), including Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), need special assessment and treatment.
