Bravo, Ste. Anne's!
The organization that evaluates the quality of health care and service provided to Canadians has once again applauded Ste. Anne's Hospital for the wonderful care it provides to veterans and their families.
During its recent review of Ste. Anne's Hospital, the Canadian Council on Health Services Accreditation rated all of the hospital's services well above the threshold of good performance. The hospital also received a special "Best Practice" citation for the program it has developed to care for, and support, residents with dementia and their families.
The successful report card means that Ste. Anne's Hospital once again has received its accreditation certificate. This certificate is prized by health care facilities across the country that manage their resources well and offer exemplary care to their patients.
Ste. Anne's Hospital, located near Montréal, has successfully participated in the accreditation process for more than 40 years. The hospital is the Department's only remaining long-term care facility.
