A Salute! to Nurses

In mid-May, our Department celebrated National Nursing Week. It was a time to say thank you to the many nurses whose skills, knowledge and compassion add so much to our clients' quality of life.

A Salute! to Nurses Norman Graham, a Service Officer with the Liaison Association of War Veterans, knows just how important nurses are to veterans and their families. He is very involved with the Liaison Centre, a day centre that is run by our Department's Ste. Anne's Hospital. He wanted us to know how grateful his association is to nurse Claire McLeod who just recently retired following 34 years of service with the hospital and the Liaison Centre.

To Claire, and nurses everywhere, we say "thank you, merci."
