  • Pilgrimage Delegation arrives Dieppe, France

Sunday, August 18

  • Walking tour and brief ceremonies at Canadian and Allied Forces plaques and monuments along the Esplanade and at Square du Canada, including visits to: Essex Scottish Regiment Plaque, Les Fusiliers Mont-Royal Monument, Royal Hamilton Light Infantry Monument, Plaques to five Allied countries, Calgary Tank (Regiment) Plaque, Toronto Scottish Regiment Plaque, Monument des Flammes.
  • Ceremony at Saint-Remy church at a monument dedicated to two Canadian soldiers.
  • Wreath laying at French Monument to War Dead in front of City Hall, Dieppe.
  • Visit to memorial in the "Petit Théâtre"
  • Aerial presentation on beach front
  • Ecumenical service at Cathedral St. Jacques
  • Vigil of Remembrance at the Dieppe Canadian War Cemetery

Monday, August 19

  • Ceremony of Remembrance at the Dieppe Canadian War Cemetery, final resting place of 707 Canadians.
  • Ceremony at Square du Canada in Dieppe
  • Ceremony at the Royal Regiment of Canada Monument in Puys
  • Unveiling of a plaque commemorating the Dieppe Raid of 1942 as an Event of National Historic Significance
  • Light and sound show on beachfront

Tuesday, August 20

  • Ceremony at Sainte Marguerite in honour of British Forces and French War Dead.
  • Ceremony at the Pourville Memorial, in honour of the South Saskatchewan Regiment and the Queen's Own Cameron Highlanders of Canada.
  • Ceremony at St. Aubin le Cauf Churchyard Cemetery, the final resting place of two Canadian airmen.
  • Ceremony in Berneval-Saint-Martin, in honour of the British No. 3 Commando and U.S. Rangers.

Wednesday, August 21

  • Ceremony at the Saint-Sever Cemetery, final resting place of 358 Canadians, 27 of which died in the Dieppe Raid.
  • Ceremony and historical briefing at Petit Appeville, the furthest point inland reached by Canadian forces.
  • Ceremony and historical briefing at the bunker captured by Lord Lovat British Commandos.

Thursday, August 22

  • Delegation departs France for Canada.
