Veterans Affiars Canada has designed this WebQuest about the Korean War. While aimed at grades 5-8, it may appeal to any age group!

What is a WebQuest?

WebQuests are World Wide Web based projects, and they are becoming increasingly favoured as resource based approaches to learning. They can be interactive and exciting tools for students to learn individually and collaboratively. Students can create knowledgeable, enterprising and creative products which they can share with classmates.

Purpose of This WebQuest:

This particular WebQuest will enable students to learn about the Korean War, Korea and its culture by using the Internet. The WebQuest is designed as an assignment in which students are asked to take the role of publishers, looking for information to develop a coffee table book about the Korean War. Students will work in groups to research various topics pertainng to Korea. Each group will contribute a chapter which will form part of the book.
