Since 1998, Veterans Affairs Canada and the Department of National Defence (DND) have been working together on many initiatives to improve the quality of life in the military. The Transition program and the Assistance Service pilot project are two of the most recent initiatives to be launched by VAC to better support Canadian Forces (CF) members. We'll be introducing you to many more Quality of Life initiatives in future issues of Salute!
