Ste. Anne Centre - National Centre for Operational Stress Injuries

As part of the modernization, Ste. Anne's Hospital has been asked to assume a national clinical leadership role in the field of mental health, particularly in the area of operational stress injuries. Ste. Anne Centre develops, coordinates and provides services to Veterans, members of the Canadian Forces and the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and their families.

Operational Stress Injury Outpatient Clinic

An interdisciplinary team provides assessment, treatment and rehabilitation services to clients with operational stress injuries.

An addiction counsellor, a medical doctor, mental health nurses, psychiatrists, psychologists and social workers make up the interdisciplinary team.

National Clinical Centre of Expertise

Field specialists develop and promote best practices through training, continuous education, research and partnerships. They also provide expert advice for complex case management and for policy development.

Network Development and Coordination Division

This division oversees the development and coordination of mental health clinical services across the country. Its mandate includes identifying needs in mental health service delivery, particularly in the field of operational stress injuries, and developing strategies to address these needs.
