Change of Mailing Address - Requests for Re-determination

On December 12, 2003, responsibility for the customs program, including the administration of the Special Import Measures Act (SIMA), was transferred from the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency (CCRA) to the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA), which was created on the same day. The creation of the CBSA has also resulted in the requirement to provide the CBSA with its own mailroom at Headquarters and its own postal code. The correct postal code to be used for CBSA Headquarters is: K1A 0L8. This postal code replaces the Canada Revenue Agency postal code (K1A 0L5). In addition, the name and postal address of the CBSA Directorate at Headquarters responsible for the receipt and treatment of requests for re-determination of certain determinations or re-determinations made by the CBSA under the Special Import Measures Act (SIMA) with respect to imported goods have changed. Memorandum D14-1-3, Procedures for Making a Request for a Re-determination or an Appeal Under the Special Import Measures Act, has been modified to reflect these changes.

Requests for re-determination are to be mailed to:

Director General
Anti-dumping and Countervailing Program
Trade Programs Directorate
Canada Border Services Agency
100 Metcalfe Street, 11th Floor
Ottawa ON K1A 0L8
