The Department of Veterans Affairs mourns the passing of Deputy Minister Jack Stagg. Mr. Stagg died at home August 9, 2006. He was an enthusiastic champion of Veterans’ issues and was a major force behind the implementation of the New Veterans Charter. Mr. Stagg encouraged one and all here at VAC to do the best they possibly could to improve the lives of all our clients.
