SALARY: $42,876 to $51,406 per year, plus remoteness allowance

QUALIFICATIONS:
College business administration graduate or possess an equivalent combination of education and experience related to budgeting, financial analysis, supervisory experience and understanding of computer technology. Experience in human resource management would be an asset. Completion or willing to enrol in the Manitoba Municipal Administrator’s Certificate Program. Experience working with minimum supervision and the ability to independently prioritize work under strict deadlines while maintaining confidentiality; accuracy to detail is essential. Strong organizational, communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills are essential. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and project management skills. Proven ability to work as an effective team member is required. Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office. Must possess a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel.

DUTIES:
Reporting to the Executive Director, this position is a senior administrative position in the Local Government Development Division responsible for providing highly specialized technical, administrative and professional support to the Executive Director, branch directors and staff, in its endeavors to achieve objectives established by the divisional and program mandates, legislation, regulations and policies.
