SALARY: $42,876 to $51,406 per year

QUALIFICATIONS:
Paralegal experience or several years of experience in a commercial real estate environment and must possess a thorough knowledge of various commercial lease agreements and supporting documents. Experience in drafting and finalizing of lease documents upon completion of the negotiation process by the Leasing Consultants. Experience in conducting property searches at various land titles offices. Must possess good verbal and written communication skills, as well as computer experience in a network environment.

DUTIES:
The incumbent is responsible for the drafting of lease and ancillary documents for the Division's lease portfolio, this includes large commercial forms, indentures/renewal agreements, land leases, supplementary agreements, caveats/discharge of caveats, etc. Liaison with Civil Legal Services is required in the development and modification of the Division's lease documents. If necessary, conducts property searches at various land titles offices. The incumbent will also be required to maintain an inventory of lease portfolio and prepare reports as they relate to the lease portfolio.
