SALARY: $31,604 to $37,316 per year plus remoteness allowance

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have experience working with computers and various software applications such as word, excel, outlook. Experience working with inventory control and procurement software is desirable. Experience working in a store/warehouse operation which includes processes such as purchasing, receiving, storing, shipping, issuing of inventory items. Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Proven ability to work independently and as an effective team member. Must have experience processing invoices for payment. Experience in the shipment of dangerous goods is desirable.

DUTIES:
Assist the head storekeeper in the day to day operations of a large sized store operation consisting of mechanical or complex technical equipment including purchasing, requisitioning, receiving, storing and distributing stock. Maintain contact with various suppliers for repairs and/or purchases of warehouse stores items. Authorize warehouse stores invoices for payment. Follow up on claims resulting from damaged or incomplete shipments.

Headquarters for this position is in Thompson. An eligibility list will be established for future vacancies and be in effect for six months from the date of the interviews.
