QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrated experience/knowledge of pay, human resource, timekeeping and benefit policies relating to a variety of employee types is required. Demonstrated experience administering The Collective Agreement, clarifying policies and procedures related to pay and benefits. Demonstrated experience with SAP transactions related to the processing of pay, timekeeping, human resources and benefits. Proven experience with computers and various software programs including Microsoft office and SAP, preferably in H2, H12 and H24 roles. Must have the ability to obtain a SAP license. Excellent interpersonal, written communication, organizational and time management skills are required. The incumbent must have the ability to work independently, prioritize work and satisfactorily meet deadlines while maintaining a high degree of accuracy. Demonstrated personal attributes include initiative, adaptability, personal sensitivity, team orientation and service orientation. A satisfactory attendance record will be a factor in the selection process. The incumbent must also demonstrate the ability to maintain a respectful workplace and have knowledge of the Vision, Mandate and Core Values of Manitoba Corrections. The successful candidate will be subject to Security Checks including a Criminal Records Check and Child Abuse Registry check.

DUTIES:
This position is accountable for the accurate and timely processing of all pay, human resource, timekeeping and benefits functions and transactions for all regular, term and casual employees at the Agassiz Youth Centre. Position ensures that all employee records associated with entitlements are in compliance with agreements, legislation, and procedures. Responds to queries on all pay and benefit issues by telephone, in person or through correspondence.
