SALARY: $32,550 to $37,316 per year

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have previous working experience in maintaining and processing payroll, attendance and personnel documentation; a minimum of two years experience in SAP Timekeeper role (H2), HR Master Data role (H4), and Recruitment role (H7); experience in maintaining personnel records and files; must possess good computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office programs or equivalent as well as good keyboarding skills; excellent oral and interpersonal skills; excellent written communication skills; ability to work as part of a team; possess good decision making and problem solving skills and the ability to organize and prioritize workloads and meet strict deadlines. The ability to work independently with minimum supervision; ability to maintain confidentiality and security of information; and general clerical and administrative experience are required qualifications. Demonstrated experience applying Government of Manitoba financial, payroll and administration regulations, guidelines, procedures, Acts and policies would be considered an asset.

DUTIES:
Reporting to the Forestry Branch Administrative Officer, the incumbent is responsible for performing clerical responsibilities related to maintaining and processing payroll, attendance and personnel documentation for the Forestry Branch, and provides clerical staff with direction, training and guidance related to staff orientation, timekeeping and documentation for human resource activities, as well as a quality control function. The incumbent is the first contact for pay and benefit issues for Forestry Branch staff and acts as the liaison between staff and Central Pay & Benefits when required. The position administers human resource events in SAP for all departmental staff within the Forestry Branch, administers all documentation for processing and maintains branch records as appropriate.
