Government of Manitoba
The MB4Youth site connects you to services and programs offered
by the government of Manitoba. At this site you will learn
about youth programming without having to surf individual government
departments. You'll find info on a wide range of subjects
from driver licensing programs to environmental projects and much
more!
What do you want to do when you "grow up"? This
is not always an easy question to answer. Here you will find information
on topics such as: Career Development; Hot Jobs; Apprenticeship
Options; Opportunities in Government; Internships; and Different
Types of Assistance.
To work with prospective employers to facilitate the hiring of
students and youth up to age 29 by providing internships, grants,
job referrals, mentorship and bursary opportunities, and wage incentives.
The Division delivers over 20 employment programs. To be the single
source of information for all youth programs and services offered
by the Government of Manitoba. The Division would like to make it
easier for youth to access over 200 provincial programs and services.

and part-time employment; and, cooperative education work terms.

This site gives you information on entrepreneurship and opportunities
for rural youth. There are links for National Programs and
Regional Programs.
The Youth Employment Strategy (YES) is the Government of Canada's
commitment to help young people, particularly those facing barriers
to employment, get the information and gain the skills, work experience
and abilities they need to make a successful transition to the workplace.
This site gives you information on many aspects of employment,
including finding a job; starting your own business; volunteerism;
and other informative issues related to youth employment.
