The Legislative Assembly of Manitoba
Provincial laws are made by the Manitoba Legislature. Each proposed law
is prepared in the form of a Bill, which must pass through several
stages before becoming law. A detailed description of the process –
including an explanation of the three readings, the committee stage, and
royal assent – is available
here.
