How Do I Apply?
The majority of full-time/permanent positions are filled through a competition process.
Vacancies are advertised through Access 1-2-3. Open competitions
are also advertised in the Winnipeg Free Press and in some local and national newspapers.
If you are interested in submitting your resume for an advertised position, the following information may be helpful:
Send your covering letter and resume directly by e-mail, fax or mail to the department listed on the employment notification bulletin.
Clearly state on your covering letter or resume the "Advertisement Number" for the competition you have selected to apply for.
Manitoba Transportation is fully committed to building and maintaining a
diverse workforce therefore Employment Equity is a factor in
selection. Applicants are encouraged to make a voluntary
declaration in their covering letter or resume if they are from
any of the following groups:
- Women in Management and Non-Traditional Occupation's
- Aboriginal People
- Visible Minorities; and
- Persons with dis-Abilities
Priority consideration will be given to those on the Re-Employment List.
Applicants must be Canadian citizens, landed immigrants or have a legal permit to work in Canada.
Placing employment information on this website does not make Manitoba Transportation liable for the interview or relocation expenses of candidates unless it has expressly agreed to such expenses in advance.
If there are no current postings that you are interested in, you
can submit your covering letter and resume for us to keep on file for future openings.
Note: Resumes are kept on file for 6 months.
