Pension Decision Question?
Call BPA

The Bureau of Pensions Advocates (BPA) is now the main point of contact in the Department for providing advice and counselling to clients who are uncertain about the decision they receive from Veterans Affairs Canada related to their pension application.

Lawyers and their legal assistants in the Bureau's 14 District Offices across Canada work together to help clients determine the best way to proceed. Depending on your particular situation, BPA might:

  • request that your case be reviewed by a Pension Adjudicator;
  • represent you before the Veterans Review and Appeal Board; or
  • counsel you not to proceed.

BPA's services are available free of charge. If you need help, please call BPA's national, toll-free number: 1-877-228-2250. You will automatically be connected to the BPA office nearest you.
