The Legislative Assembly of Manitoba

Provincial laws are made by the Manitoba Legislature.  Each proposed law is prepared in the form of a Bill, which must pass through several stages before becoming law.  A detailed description of the process – including an explanation of the three readings, the committee stage, and royal assent – is available here.
