Joamie School is located in
Iqaluit, the capital of Nunavut, Canada's newest
Territory. This web site was constructed by students, teachers and parent volunteers over a period of years
because not enough is understood about the north; what languages are spoken,
the cost of living, the environment, the cultures, the impact of living in a
newly created territory .. we thought it useful to use our page to help educate
