Diversity in GovernmentThe Workplace Diversity Employment Office (WDEO) was created in 2004 to focus on two key initiatives of government. The first was to help people with disabilities get and keep jobs within the public service. The second was to work with Yukon First Nation governments and their citizens to fulfill our Land Claim obligations as set out in the Umbrella Final Agreement and individual First Nations Final Agreements.
