Mechanical and Engineering Branch works to enhance safety to life and property
by inspecting and certifying mechanical and electrical equipment in service
where Manitobans live and work, and by testing and licensing the men and
women who maintain, install and repair regulated equipment.

You can now apply and pay online for permits you
require before you begin the work of installing new and replacement
gas and oil burning equipment. Under The gas and Oil Burner Act,
the Branch issues
permits for all gas and oil burning equipment installations.
