The Assistant Deputy Minister, Legal Liaison and Executive Assistant make
up the administrative section of the Office of the Assistant Deputy
Minister.
Objectives of the Assistant Deputy Minister include:
- Fulfilling the duties of Director of the Workplace Safety and Health
Division as outlined in the Workplace Safety and Health Act;
- Ensuring that the Acts and regulations under its responsibility are
properly administered;
- Providing overall management and direction to the Divisions six
branches: Occupational Health; Prevention Services and Partnerships;
Occupational Hygiene, Engineering and Ergonomics; Inspection Services;
Mine Safety; and Mechanical and Engineering.
