Zenith Management Corporation's letter and the National City Bank cashier's check both list addresses for "Frankenmouth, MI” and contact phone numbers with area codes "778" and "902" respectively. The letter from Zenith Management Corporation states that the National City check will not clear unless the recipient sends Zenith money to cover taxes and expenses for managing the lottery. The check also has a similar message printed on the front of it.

Consumer's who call the "902" phone number are greeted by an operator who answers "National City Bank" and tells them they are speaking with the Frankenmuth branch and it is a legitimate deal. We called the number (902) 412 - 1937 and heard a voice mail stating that we had reached National City Bank and listing hours of operation. National City Bank has informed the Detroit BBB it has no relationship to this phone number. “778” is not the area code for Frankenmuth, MI. The area code for 902 is Nova Scotia.

Investigation by the Detroit BBB shows that the "National City" checks are counterfeit and no such checks have ever been issued by the Frankenmuth National City Bank branch. The address for Zenith Management Corporation is a residential home in Frankenmuth MI.

The BBB Serving MB & N.W. ON is concerned this scam could target this area and advises local consumers and businesses they should be aware this is a lottery scam and they should not submit any form of payment to anyone who has contacted them in regard to Zenith Management Corporation or the Frankenmuth Michigan National City Bank regarding lottery prizes.
