For Employers – English Skills Centre

In addition to on – site programs offered through the English at Work program, employers may support their immigrant employees by referring them to English Skills Centre. 

Afternoon, evening and Saturday classes focus on specific language skills such as: Pronunciation, Listening to Rapid Canadian English, Language and Culture in the Workplace, Professional Writing and Technical Reading.

Employers may purchase a seat in any of the classes for an employee.  This will provide the employee with a 10 week part time class, plus 10 hours of individualized tutoring which will focus on the language needs at their particular workplace.
