Manitoba! Our province is known as a friendly place. We hope that you will
have this experience too, as you begin your new life in Manitoba.
The Immigration and Multiculturalism Division of Labour and Immigration
supports programs and services that help newcomers adjust to life in Manitoba.
The Settlement Branch offers information and materials that may be useful to
newcomers as they settle
in Manitoba. The Adult Language Training Branch offers information and
referrals to Adult ESL programs for newcomers to Winnipeg
or Regions
outside of Winnipeg.
Many of the materials are listed on our web site; however, you may also visit
our office at 500 – 213 Notre Dame Avenue, Winnipeg MB R3B 1N3 weekdays from
8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Please call (204) 945-6300 first for an appointment.
If you do not know how to contact the service you want for information on
government programs and services, call Manitoba Government Inquiry at
1-866-626-4862. This is a toll free number. You do not have to pay long distance
phone charges.
