Dr. Bruce E. Taylor (Research Scientist, Isotope Geologist) extracts water from a mineral sample for hydrogen isotope analysis. The procedure requires about 35 minutes. The isotopic analysis will provide information on the origin of the mineral. (GSC, Ottawa, Ontario).
